- Arbitrage
- Arbitrage is exploiting differences in odds across bookmakers to guarantee a profit regardless of the outcome.
- Asian Handicap
- Asian handicap is a handicap system that removes the draw option and uses half-ball or quarter-ball lines to reduce risk.
- Bankroll
- Bankroll is the total amount of money you set aside for placing bets.
- Bonus
- A bonus is extra funds credited by a bookmaker, usually with conditions you must meet before withdrawing.
- Both Teams To Score
- Both teams to score is a bet on whether each side will find the net at least once during the match.
- Cash Out
- Cash out allows you to settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Correct Score
- Correct score is a wager that predicts the exact final score of a match.
- Double Chance
- Double chance covers two of the three possible outcomes, such as a home win or a draw.
- Draw No Bet
- Draw no bet lets you back a team to win; if the match ends in a draw your stake is refunded.
- Edge
- Edge is a perceived advantage you have over the bookmaker’s odds, giving you a better chance of profit.
- First Goal Scorer
- First goal scorer is a bet on which player will score the opening goal of the game.
- Free Bet
- A free bet is a no-cost bet offered by a bookmaker, allowing you to wager without using your own money.
- Hedge
- Hedge is placing an additional bet to offset risk or lock in a profit on an existing wager.
- In-Play Betting
- In-play betting lets you place a wager after the match has started, with odds that change as the game progresses.
- Juice (Vig)
- Juice, or vig, is the commission a bookmaker includes in the odds, representing their guaranteed profit on each bet.
- Moneyline
- A moneyline is a straightforward bet on which team will win the match, with odds shown as positive or negative numbers.
- Odds
- Odds are numbers that tell you how likely something is to happen and how much money you’ll win if your bet is correct.
- Over/Under
- An over/under bet predicts whether the total number of goals in a match will be higher or lower than a set number.
- Parlay
- A parlay is a single bet that combines two or more selections; all must win for you to receive a payout.
- Payout
- Payout is the total sum returned from a winning bet, including your original stake.
- Spread
- A spread, or point spread, gives the underdog a fictional advantage and the favorite a deficit to make the betting more even.
- Stake
- Stake is the amount of money you risk on a single bet.
- Unit
- A unit is a standard bet size, usually a small percentage of your bankroll, used to manage risk.
- Wagering Requirement
- Wagering requirement is the number of times you must bet a bonus before any winnings can be taken out.
